The North Dakota Department of Human Services operates eight regional human service centers. Each serves a designated multi-county area, providing help to individuals and families with concerns including family and relationship issues through counseling and mental health services, substance abuse treatment, disability services, and other human services.

PEER SUPPORT GROUPS:

Grand Forks:
A support groups meets once a month on the third Monday night at the GF YMCA. The contact person for the support group is Jackie Lund at Grand Forks County Social Services. Her direct line is 787-8549. the YMCA is located at 213 7th Street North in Grand Forks.

Other types of groups available in GF include: the grief group, ADHD group, Sexual abuse group, etc.

Fargo:
Foster/Adopt support group meets one time per month from Sept. through May. Coordinated by the local foster parent association, A.A.S.K. and Cass County Social Services. Support groups are held at:

The foster/adopt parent support group has started meeting once a month of the 3rd Thursday of the month. They are currently meeting at 6:00pm in the:
